Iran plans to establish power plants with Russia, Turkey

30 September 2011: Iran will cooperate with Russia and Turkey to establish power plants geared towards exporting electricity.

Iran and Turkey have reached an agreement allowing Turkish companies to invest in the Islamic Republic's electricity sector and build new power plants. The new power plants will boost Iran's electricity export.
