Iranian Oil Ministry to offer energy contracts soon

30 November 2011: Iran will soon start offering contracts for 21 oil and gas fields to domestic and foreign investorsThe country has introduced new policies aimed at attracting more foreign investment in its oil and gas sectors. Iran needs some $50bn (approx Rs 260,000 crore) annually to develop its oil industry for the rest of the 'Fifth Five Year Development Plan.
