JV to set up fibreglass plant in Bahrain
24 August 2010: Saudi Arabia's Saleh in JV with Abdulaziz Abahsain Company and China's Chongqing Polycomp International (CPIC) is planning to build a $200 million (approx Rs 930 crore) fibreglass plant at Salman Industrial City (SIC) in Bahrain.
The JV will build the 140,000 tpa facility at the Bahrain International Investment Park (BIIP), which is part of SIC. The JV will be 70 per cent owned by CPIC and 30 per cent owned by Saleh and Abdulaziz Abahsain and will employ around 1,000 people when completed.
