Jacobs Engineering bags Yas mall PMS deal

14 December 2011: Jacobs Engineering Group has won a contract from Aldar, a premier real estate development company in the UAE, to provide project management support for construction of a new mall at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The contract value is estimated at $8 million (appro Rs.4 crore). Jacobs is executing the project from its offices in Abu Dhabi.

Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is providing project management support services including construction management; design and leasing change coordination; project controls; logistics coordination; coordination of site, project health, safety, security and environment (HSSE) and quality; and implementation of all associated systems, processes and procedures on behalf of Aldar.
