Jeddah airport renovation works to be completed soon

22 December 2011: Renovation works at Saudi Arabia's King Abdul Aziz International Airport (KAIA) are 90 per cent complete. Runways, courses and courtyards have been built to accommodate the new giant airplanes. These parts of the project will be completed by the middle of next year. Work at the aviation, aviation safety standards and monitoring buildings has been completed. A total of 69 per cent of excavation work has been finished as well. The project will be finished by the end of next September 2011.
