Jordanian government plans airport highway to be Jordan's first toll road

7 October 2011: The Jordanian government has made the highway linking the capital Amman to the Queen Alia International Airport the kingdom's first toll road. The move is part of a project which will see expanding the road to three lanes. The toll road is intended to provide more efficient traffic services.
