Jumeirah to extend US hotel

group Jumeirah is to expand its portfolio in the United States by opening up
nine new properties in 2011.
Jumeirah has opened three hotels in 2011 namely Jumeirah Zabeel Saray on The
Palm Jumeirah island; the Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel in Shanghai; and Jumeirah
Dhevanafushi, Maldives.The company has further planned to launch its hotels at
Baku, Azerbaijan, Frankfurt, Germany, Kuwait, Maldives, Abu Dhabi and Dubai by
the end of 2011 with the existing branch Jumeirah Essex House near Central Park
in New York.
The group has also entered in the negotiations with Anguilla and Antigua
(Caribbean).
