KHCC inpact with University of Texas cancer centre

3 November 2011: Jordan's King Hussein Cancer Centre (KHCC) has signed an agreement with the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Centre (MDACC) to collaborate in the fields of clinical treatment, training and education, as well as research. As part of the agreement, the KHCC is to conducting research on the genes that cause cancer among Jordanians, a step towards developing personalised medicine. The centre have formed a committee to come up with the plan to establish a centre for personalised medicine to treat patients based on their genetic composition.
