22 September 2011: Kuwait's Ministry of Education has launched the first public school for students with learning disabilities in the country. The school is the part of the ministry's integration project which is supervised by the Centre of Child Evaluation and Teaching and sponsored by the health development fund of the Endowments Public Secretariat. The project is the first of its kind in Kuwait and is aimed at integrating children with learning disabilities with their normal peers in public schools.
