Kuwait unveils oil industry upgrades plan
24 August 2010: The Kuwait Government is planning to launch oil projects valued at almost $35 billion (approx Rs 162.75 crore) as part of its four-year development plan for the industry.
The projects will include a fourth oil refinery in Kuwait and an upgrade at the state's three existing refineries. The project will boost capacity of two of the three existing refineries from 7,30,000 to 8,00,000 bpd.
