Lifeline Hospital inaugurated in Sohar

20 October 2011: Abu Dhabi-based Lifeline Hospital Group has inaugurated a new hospital in Oman's Batinah region . The new OR10m ($26m), 54-bed facility is equipped with MRI and CT scan facilities and it is likely to be upgraded as a super-specialty hospital in coming days. The hospital, spread over an area of 60,350 sq ft that includes inpatient and outpatient facilities with operation theatres, delivery rooms and emergency services. The hospital also plans to bring mobile mammogram unit from Abu Dhabi to conduct examination of breast cancer cases.
