Lufthansa Consulting bags Iraq services contract

30 November 2011: The Iraqi government has awarded Lufthansa Consulting a contract to evaluate the ground handling requirements at the country's major airports. The overall project aim is to ensure the airports' operational readiness by 2012 at the latest. In the phase I, Lufthansa is to develop an action plan for the project, while in the next phase it will be responsible for managing tender procedure and tendering the ground handling licenses for these airports to international firms.
