Lufthansa Technik inks Emirates services contract

15 November 2011: Emirates has signed a non-exclusive five-year agreement with Lufthansa Technik AG to provide maintenance services for the Dubai-based carrier's Airbus A330 / A340 and Boeing 777 fleets. Since 2005, Lufthansa Technik has been supporting the landing gear of 21 Boeing 777 aircraft (200, 200ER and 300) operated by the airline, and since the beginning of 2011, it has also started to overhaul the centre landing gears of the airline's fleet of Airbus A340-300.
