Ma'aden commences commercial production of Ammonia

29 September 2011:Saudi Arabian Mining Co (Ma'aden) will commence the commercial production of ammonia at the company's Ma'aden Phosphate Co (MPC) complex at Ras Al Khair soon. The plant has reached full capacity and has so far exported 480,000 tonne of ammonia. The annual production capacity of the ammonia plant is around 1.1 million tonne. MPC is a 70-30 joint venture project between Ma'aden and Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC).
