Mega conference centre unveiled in Duhok

5 December 2011: A conference hall which cost $11 million USD (approx 56 crore) has unveiled in Duhok city. The design of the conference center was selected by the president of Duhok University for its modern lines. 

The center, intended for national and international events, hosts 840 guests and has a section for interpreters. There are several other halls, besides the conventions hall, in the center. One can seat 400 people. There is internet access, lecture halls, and VIP and exhibition sections as well as a cafeteria and accommodation.
