Najaf inks deals with Korean, Iraqi firms

26 February 2010: The investment commission in Najaf has signed an MoU with a group of Korean and Iraqi companies to dig out oil and conduct infrastructure projects worth over $22 billion in the province.

The oil investment project is waiting for the Oil Ministry's approval. The project is expected to produce 400,000 bpd of oil and will provide the province with $400 million a year.
