Qatar to open hotels in Sri Lanka

16 December 2011: Qatar is planning to open luxury hotels in the island nation, following a visit by the Qatari prime minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabr Al-Thani to the country. The Sri Lankan government will provide lands for the hotel projects. As a result of the relationship with Qatar, it will be able to take the tourism to a higher level.
