Sipchem to invest in knowledge hub
25 July 2011: The Saudi International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) is investing more than SR150 million to build its corporate Research and Product & Application Center at the Dhahran Techno Valley (DTV) of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM).
Sipchem will construct, manage and operate this center under a MoU signed with the Ministry of Petroleum and Minerals and KFUPM.
The center, which is being set up on an area of 15,000 sq. m. at DTV, is expected to commence by the middle of next year.
