Toyota mulls smaller Prius
19 November 2011: Toyota Motor has expanded its Prius line of hybrid passenger cars with a new downsized model designed as an entry point for young drivers interested in hybridization. The 'Prius c' will be about 20 inches shorter than the standard sized third generation Prius liftback model. The new model will be unveiled in January 2012 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit with a 1.5-liter version of Toyota's Hybrid Synergy Drive system under its hood.
