Two Petchem projects to be operationalised soon
10 August 2010: Two new Petro-chemical projects are likely to commence operations by end-August 2010.
The polystyrene unit in Tabriz Petrochemical and the polyethylene unit in Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company will come on stream. The polystyrene unit in Tabriz Petrochemical Company will produce 54,000 tonne annually. The project began five years ago and cost $35 million (approx Rs 161 crore).
