UAE's health ministry approves derivation of natural products from natural resources

The UAE health ministry has approved 52 new products derived from natural resources, which includes food supplements, vitamins, multi-vitamins and herbal medicines. The ministry's Evaluation Committee of Pharmaceuticals Derived from Natural Resources has evaluated 65 new products, of which 52 were approved. However, six products were refused registration due to "non-conformity of specifications," while seven were pending for incomplete file or have not completed its basic registration.
