Wassit Council signs MOU with Chinese Company Camsy
23 August 2011: Wassit Province Council has signed a MOU with a Camsy, Chinese company to build 330 MW power stations in the Province.
The Council had got final official approvals by the Ministry of Electricity, following the approval of the Prime Minister and the Finance Ministry to build the power station. The Chinese Company will build the power station within one year from the date of the Iraqi Electricity Ministry's approval on the contract, adding that the payment of the project will be based on delayed payment procedure.
