Zayed University unveils new campus

14 November 2011: The UAE's Zayed University (ZU) has inaugurated its new campus in Abu Dhabi, marking a shift from its moderately-sized city campus on Delma Street to a new one in Khalifa City. The 80-hectare campus was built at a cost of more than Dhs30bn ($8bn) and can accommodate approximately 7,000 students, making it the country's second largest federal university campus. The university has a large campus in Dubai International Academic City and a smaller one in Dubai Knowledge Village.
