Ashok Leyland bags order from Bangladesh
25 May 2011: Ashok Leyland has bagged an order worth $23.3 million (approx Rs 104.85 crore) to supply 290 fully-built double decker buses for Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation. In 2010-11, the company’s export expanded by 72 per cent to touch 10,306 numbers, in which Bangladesh had a significant contribution, according to sources.
