Bangladesh Bridge Authority awards contract to IRD
20 November 2009: Canada based International Road Dynamics Inc (IRD) along with its wholly owned subsidiary, International Road Dynamics South Asia, has been awarded a contract by the Bangladesh Bridge Authority (BAA) for the installation of two WeighinMotion Systems and a Toll Collection system for the Bangabandhu Bridge.
The project valued at approximately CAD $1.1 million, is expected to be commissioned by April 2010.
IRD is a highway traffic management technology company specializing in supplying products and systems to the global Intelligent Transportation Systems industry.
