Construction of Shah Jalal Fertilizer Factory to commence soon
21 June 2010: Construction of the proposed Shah Jalal Fertilizer Factory in Bangladesh is likely to begin in 2010.
The governemnt is likely to sign a loan agreement of $537 million (approx Rs 2,497.05 crore) with the China Government by September 2010. After signing the loan agreement, the government will start setting up the proposed Shah Jalal Fertilizer Factory project by signing a trade agreement with China.
