Dangote to commence Ibese Plant in Nigeria
3 September 2011: Dangote Cement Plc will start production at its Ibese plant with the capacity of 6 million tonne in southwestern Nigeria soon. The company will also add an additional production line at its Obajana plant in central Nigeria in the fourth quarter from the capacity of 3 million tonne .
By the end of the first quarter of next year, both plants will be operating at 90 per cent of capacity Obajana will have the capacity to produce 5 million metric tonne of cement.
