Delayed hydrocarbon projects causing losses
21 May 2011: A number of important projects of hydrocarbon development such as Uch-II, Sinjhoro, Kunnar Pasakhi and Tando Allah Yar are being held up for years thus depriving Pakistan of around 300 MMCFD of gas, 8,000 barrels of oil per day and 1200 MW of electricity due to lengthy litigation, according to sources.
