Green ship recycling facilities on the anvil
20 November 2010: Bangladesh is likely to get a zero-pollution green ship recycling facilities soon.
Ananda Shipyard and Slipways Lid (ASSL) has earmarked 300 acre in Chittagong to set up the ship recycling yard, involving Taka 1,000 crore. Of the total, 40 percent fund will come from domestic source and the remaining 60 percent to be available from a Germany based Bank.
