Hemas Group expands healthcare business
16 August 2011: Sri Lanka based Hemas group is expanding its healthcare business by expanding its hospitals in the country.
Hemas group plans to build a new hospital near the island's capital at Battaramulla. The company also plans to expand two more hospitals to the chain are well underway and we have been successful in securing a land at Battaramulla to construct the third hospital. It had also has started a program with Sri Lanka's Open University and Aquinas University College to train 250 nurses a year.
