Jubilant Foodworks to launch Domino's in Sri Lanka
13 May 2011: Jubilant Foodworks (JFL) will launch the first Domino's Pizza store in Sri Lanka in June 2011.
JFL is also looking to tap fast food market in Bangladesh besides enhancing reach within India by setting up 80 new stores here this fiscal. The company is currently setting up a commissary in Sri Lanka and plans to open around five stores in the country in FY12.
JFL that currently operates 378 Domino's stores in 90 cities across India plans to open upto 80 new stores here this fiscal. In 2010-11, JFL opened 72 new stores with an investment of around Rs 70 crore. This fiscal the company intends to open 75 to 80 Domino's stores. Besides increasing the number of outlets, JFL also plans to set up new commissaries at Mumbai, Kolkata and Chandigarh. The first Dunkin' Donuts store is likely to be set up this year-end or early next year. In the next five years we plan to set up 80-100 such stores in India.
