Lanka Phosphate to kick start production of fertilizer

12 December 2011: Lanka Phosphate is expected to commence fertilizer production which will be launched in Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka in 2012.

The company could now increase its annual phosphate manufacturing capacity from 46,000 tonne to 72,000 tonne. The company currently has the capacity of manufacturing over 6,000 tonne of phosphate every month.
