MCB to unveil more branches in Sri Lanka

21 March 2011: Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB) is planning to open four new branches in Sri Lanka by next year where six branches are already operational. This move will make MCB one of the largest foreign banks in Sri Lanka.

The group is keenly interested in participating in the economic development of the Island. The new branches will be opened at Batticaloa, Kurunegala and in Colombo. It will increase the number of MCB branches in Sri Lanka to 10. The group also showed keen interest in setting up hotels in the Island that will provide top class services to the tourists visiting the picturesque Island.
