Monster energy drinks mulls expansion
10 November 2010: Hansen Natural, the maker of Monster Energy, is planning to take up major expansion plan in Europe.
The company is in the process of launching the Monster Energy brand in Switzerland, Austria and Iceland and is planning to launch Monster Energy in Bulgaria before December 2010.
Meanwhile, makers of alcohol energy drinks in the US are facing up to a new ban in Michigan.
