Nasco to invest in Karnaphuli EPZ
6 July 2010: Nasco Inc, a Bangladeshi company, plans to set up a textile manufacturing industry at Karnaphuli Export Processing Zone involving US$ 5.12 million (approx Rs 23.715 crore).
Through the investment the company will create employment opportunities for 300 people including 12 foreign nationals. An agreement to this effect was signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zone Authority and Nasco Inc on 5 July 2010.
