Pak-Indonesia PTA in 2011
28 December 2010: Pakistan-Indonesia Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) is expected to be signed in the first quarter of 2011 and it would give the necessary impetus to bilateral trade.
Once the agreement was in force, it would escalate bilateral trade to around two billion dollars (Approx Rs 9,047 crore) within two years.
Pakistan and Indonesia had agreements on protection of investment as well as avoidance of double taxation treaty, which formed the basis of a cordial investment atmosphere.
