Pakistan Stone Development Co plans to set up marble granite projects

SPakistan Stone Development Company (PASDEC) has set up 16 marble and granite projects across the country, while 29 more projects are in pipe line.PASDEC is endeavoring to achieve $ 500 million (approx Rs 2,445 crore) marble export target before 2020 and will flourish the industry as well as strengthen the national economy.

The government is committed to develop the Marble and Granite sector as dimensional stone industry of the country.Also, the PASDEC is offering skill development training to local work force for quarrying techniques and operating the machinery.
