Sierra Cables to manufacture pipes
16 August 2011: Sierra Cables is getting into the plastic pipe manufacture through a new joint venture with an unlisted affiliate.
The JV will make PVC (poly vinyl chloride) and HDPE (high density polypropylene) pipes.It will have a 50 percent stake Sierra Industries and the remaining balance will be held by Sierra Holdings.
