Sindh Government to provide land to PQA
5 February 2010: The Sindh Government is likely to provide at least five acre to the Port Qasim Authority (PQA) for construction of a residential colony for the port workers.
The authority is speedily developing the infrastructure for the Rs 850 crore Eastern Industrial Zone project of PQA through constructing roads and other networks, which would boost the industrial activities at the port. The infrastructure development work will be completed within next two years.
