Singapore retailer to build mall complex in Sri Lanka

14 December 2011: Mohamed Mustafa PTE, Singapore, is planning to invest in Sri Lanka to build a shopping complex in Colombo.

The company has entered into an agreement with Sri Lanka's Board of Investment (BOI) to invest in a mixed development project at Srimath Ramanathan Mawatha, Colombo 15.
The $115 million (approx Rs 598 crore) project envisages a retail develoment store, a 975-roomed hotel, 400 serviced apartments and a 1,000 vehicle car park, with a total floor area of 1,42,125 sq mtrs.
