Sri Lanka's first expressway opening further delayed
24 August 2011: The opening of the country's first expressway will be delayed further. The postponement is due to the delay in the construction of buildings in rest areas and the fuel stations along the expressway. The opening is likely to be delayed by about three weeks. The government planned to open the expressway in the September.
