Thar-Coal project to produce economical electricity
20 June 2011: Pakistan is to come up with the Thar-Coal project to meet the growing demand of the electricity in the country. The estimated cost of the project is $115 million (approx. Rs 52325 crore).
The project will yield 100 MW of
electricity with 100 million barrel diesel and gas which would be sufficient for
30 years.
