UAE firms to invest in Pakistan
14 December 2010: UAE companies on Monday signed 11 MoUs with Pakistan’s Punjab Board of Investment and Trade to invest $1.3 bn (approx Rs 5,850 crore) in various projects in the Punjab province.
The MoUs, which include two EoIs, were signed during the one-day Pakistan Business and Investment Conference 2010 held in Dubai. The companies which have signed MoU’s includes 10 Star Group, Getronics, Arif Habib Group, BF Biosciences, Big Bird Group, Nirala, EMRAC and Haji Sons Group, Commit, Microsoft, Engro etc.
