Wapda approves funds for gas pipeline
28 January 2010: Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda), Pakistan, has sanctioned an amount of Rs 15 crore for the provision of pipe lines for Sui gas in the Wapda Housing Society Taru Jabba while another amount of Rs 0.2 crore has also been allocated for construction of boundary wall for the security of colony.
Also, in principle has been given for the construction of a Grid Station in Wapda Employees Co-operative Housing Colony Taru Jabba for making the power supply more smooth and continuous at colony. Committee has also approved contract for the construction of Mosque in the colony. To provide better health facilities committee has discussed construction of a hospital and for colony graveyard.
