Demonetisation slowdowns Economic Growth

Advance Estimate of GDP released by the CSO states that the country will record a lower growth of 7.1 percent during 2016-17, as against the earlier prediction of 7.6 percent growth. However, the Government feels that the downside of demonetization will peter out in the next couple of months and the economic activities would bounce back to normalcy.
