As per data compiled by ProjectsToday, as of March 2017, Uttarakhand had a total of 1,165 live projects worth Rs 93,895 crore, across all sectors.
Among major sectors, Electricity & Non Conv. Energy topped the chart in terms of investment, while Infrastructure projects led in terms of number.
Of the total, 1,165 live projects, 1,075 projects worth Rs 81,666 crore was undertaken by government organisations and 90 projects worth Rs 12,229 crore was by private companies.
Of the top ten live projects, undertaken by various promoters, eight were Hydel-based Power project.
