Meghalaya, is a small state in north-eastern India, sandwiched in the north by Assam and Bangladesh in the south. The Meghalaya subtropical forest ecoregion encompasses the state; its montane forests are distinct from the lowland tropical forests to the north and south.

Projects Investment in Meghalaya

According to the 42nd Quarterly Survey of Projects Investment conducted by Projects Today, as of 31 March 2011, Meghalaya had 137 projects worth Rs 12,608 crore in various stages of planning and implementation.

The state saw implementation ratio of 62.95 per cent and the national average of 46.17 per cent.
