Mizoram is a mountainous region which became the 23rd State of the Indian Union in February, 1987. It is the second highest literate state in India, the state also has a very pleasant climate and is also rich in flora and fauna.

Projects Investment in Mizoram

According to the 42nd Quarterly Survey of Projects Investment conducted by Projects Today, as of 31 March 2011, the state had 61 projects worth Rs 5,363 crore in various stages of planning and implementation.

The state had a projects implementation ratio of 6.06 per cent, as compared to the national average of 46.17 per cent.
