Presenting ProjectsToday in a new Avatar!!

We are pleased to unveil the significantly revamped version of www.projectstoday.com. We are confident that the new avatar of ProjectsToday will not only please your eyes but also would make the data mining even more easier.

The major changes incorporated in the home page are:

Members Login:
The login procedure for existing subscribers is now one click away from the home page. This has been done to create space for a notice board through which we will communicate to you latest developments and changes in ProjectsToday.

In this page we will regularly apprise you of:

· New features added
· Latest Monthly Bulletin uploading schedule
· Additions to Special Reports
· Names of the Statistical Tables updated
· New corporate events coming up with ProjectsToday’s association
· …and much more

Paid Services:
All major links to the database have been moved from the center of the home page to the left panel.

Links to ProjectsToday database like Project Information; Project Tenders; Project News; Project Surveys & Special Features, Monthly Bulletin and Project Profiles have been placed under this section.

For the benefit of non-subscribers, we have added a page explaining the contents of these sections. One can view it by simply clicking on the links.

Free Services:
Unrestricted links like Project Potpourri; Yellow pages, Company Profiles and Post Your Projects have been placed under the “Free Services” section.

Links to both Paid as well as free services have also been listed on the navigation bar under the title “Services”.

Navigation Bar:
Among the features available on the navigation bar, “Membership” section has been thoroughly revamped and re-arranged. We have incorporated all information a prospective client would need to subscribe to the website.

Existing subscribers can use this section to renew their subscription in time!

Must See: The newly added "Must See" section has sub-menus — Testimonials; In the Press; Glossary; User Manual and FAQ.

Below the navigation bar on the right hand side, we have placed, the feedback, helpdesk and login modules.

Live / New Projects & Tenders:
The two small windows indicating the latest tally of live and new projects and tenders have now been merged into a single window, placed on the left side panel in the home page.

Top News:
The Top News section placed in the top-middle section of the home page will carry the latest project related news.

In Focus:
The "In Focus" section, one of the most referred sections in the website, would list out the major project developments of the week and news on Contracts and Orders bagged by companies as well as the announcement of Notices for empanelment of contractors, suppliers.

ProjectsToday @ Events:
Here you will find the list of project related events where ProjectsToday is participating either as knowledge or media partner.

Recent News:
This new section would carry news items covered by ProjectsToday during the bygone week.

Project Database:
So as not to disturb the existing familiarity of subscribers in accessing projects database, no major changes have been made in the database (inside) pages. However, the website now has many features that make data-mining easier.

Project Information:
In the Project Information section, the search help feature has been updated.

In the Project Information page, "Company name:" has been substituted with "Promoter”. Over the years we have observed that projects implemented by non-corporate entities have increased substantially; warranting the change.

The ProjectsToday banner appearing on the top of "Printer Friendly Page" has been replaced with a simple heading, making page loading and printing even faster.

Project Tender:
An elaborate help feature on the Search facility has been introduced.

Special Reports:
The Monthly Bulletin and Project Profiles (Special Features) section have been brought together under "Special Reports" section. The Monthly Bulletin itself underwent a major visual uplift in early August 2006.

Monthly Bulletin: From the photocopy offset and side-pinning technology, the Monthly Bulletin migrated to offset printing in August 2006, giving it a richer aesthetic appeal. To view the latest issue, please visit the Monthly Bulletin section.

Yellow Pages:
When we introduced the "Project Directory" section in 2005, our intention was to merely list contact details of project suppliers. Due to heavy demand from our subscribers, we were inspired to widen the scope to include details of other classes of the project fraternity like promoters, consultants, financiers, etc. The project directory is now called "Yellow Pages"

Thank You!
It gives us great pride to state that majority of the website changes was the result of valuable feedback and constructive criticism by our esteemed subscribers. We would like to place on record our gratitude to each and every one of you who has contributed to the development of this new version of ProjectsToday.
