JSW Steel is planning to augment the capacity of its integrated steel plant at Dolvi, in Raigarh district of Maharashtra.
The company plans to expand the capacity of its plant from its existing 3.3 million tpa to 15 million tpa. Initially, it will increase the capacity from 3.3 million tpa to five million tpa wiith an investment of Rs 3,300 crore.
The project involves a coke oven and pellet plants, and also a cold rolling mill to secure backward integration and reduce production cost. The company has commissioned a 55 MW plant, which will use waste gas generated by the blast furnace at the project site.
